good, appropriate, becoming,

What is suitable, proper, and fitting?

  • Give thanks to the Lord (Jehovah)
  • Sing praises to the Most High (Elyown)
  • Proclaim His unfaithful love in the morning
  • Proclaim His faithfulness in the evening

Something New

Am I joyful when the Lord disciplines me? (Psalm 94:12) Not at the moment, but then I realize He loves me, and is shaping me into His beautiful image.

Something to Do

Exalt the Lord by doing what is good… every day.

  1. I always loved Amy Grant’s “Sing Your Praise to the Lord” (speaking of oldies!). You can’t help but sing along!
There are different variations of this, but something I learned for prayer time is this:
    P-praise Him
    A-ask Him
    R-reconcile with Him
    T-thank Him
I try to do these before I leave my bed each day :).

Sometimes the praise part is hard–not sure why, but I don’t know what to say. So these psalms and teachings will help.

  2. Sing praises to the living God, Glory Halleluia. Come adore the living God, Glory Halleluia. Though sun and moon may pass away, His word shall ever stay.. His power is forevermore, Glory Halleluia.

This is an oldie also. But I think, a very effective praise song. Also simple and easy to remember.
