Psalm 128:1

My Takeaways

Something Old

I’m so thankful God doesn’t keep a record of our sins. Psalm 130:3

Something New

The demonstration of our respect, honor, and reverence of the LORD is our willingness to walk in His ways.

This blessedness/happiness is open to every one who…not limited to those of a certain economic status, position in the community, number of likes and followers on social media, number of degrees hanging on the wall, color, nationality,  or marital status.

  • Fear of the LORD + Walking in His Ways = Happiness

  1. I couldn’t help but think about all the many books that have been written lately about happiness. They are everywhere!! I have read some of them and they did not help me- if anything they led me away from God and confused me more. People are constantly in search of happiness- and here it is laid out for us. It’s definitely not the same formula as our culture offers.
Psalm 130 really spoke to me this morning. Cry out to God, count on Him, put my hope in Him, desire Him above all else- nothing compares to His unfailing love and the redemption He offers. There is no sin too great- He can redeem us from any and every kind of sin.
