RTW December 23

How Can I Do This?

By His Divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life.
2 Peter 1:3a

My Takeaways

Something Old

I don’t need a:

  • Better worship
  • Better Bible study
  • Better church
  • A retreat
  • A new Bible

The divine nature supersedes my natural response.

Something New

2 Peter 2:9
He knows how to rescue me.

Something to Do

Tap into the power I have; and experience what He has already given me, instead of trying to make it better – the way I “think” He wants it.

  1. Good morning Wendy, I just wanted to say thank you for the days that you did go forward. Thank you for blessing so many of us with your daily ministry even on the days you didn’t feel like it. What I like about you the most, is your real. You have no problem with saying your failures . Thank you again, wishing you and your family a very blessed holiday !

  2. Wendy, your example of obedience and surrender to the things He wants for you is so encouraging. Walking along the path of life with you has been a huge blessing to me over the past few years. When I see the work God is doing in your life/words it helps me see my own path. Thanks you for giving so mightily this year.

  3. Wendy…
So applicable to ME in these last few months.
God continues to use you, through this Bible Study, in my life.
Thank you for remaining faithful, even when you didn’t think you could handle the task at hand. Been there….done that and have been reminded that our God has endless resources, but only as we trust Him!!

  4. Dear Wendy, thank you for being so open and sincere about your own struggles. I am so thankful and glad that you did go on and that you provided us with our daily dose of insight in Gods word and what He wants to say to us. I have been blessed beyond imagination by your lessons for they gave me acccess to certain treasures of wisdom that I would not have found on my own. Your lesson today inspires me to keep on going on for there is much more for me in store than I will ever know when I won’t continue in my pursue of living a life that honours God. Sending you a big hug and lots of love!

  5. I think we need these occasional ‘meltdowns’ in our life. They just serve to slow us down and ‘to be still and know that He is God’ until we can refocus on Him, our true source of strength and remember that He has equipped us to live the life He has given us.

  6. Thank you God for giving us everything we need to live a godly life. Forgive us when we fail to remember that you have equipped us perfectly. Please refocus us on You.

Thank you Wendy for your honesty and for pointing us to the Biblical truths.

  7. Thank you for using your gifts to be obedient to God and to be a blessing to others. You have no idea how you have helped me get through a challenging year of big life changes. Your messages gave me a spiritual lift when I needed it and you were a friend to me that was there everyday for me even though we’ve never met. A friend at my work told me about your study last year and I’m thankful I subscribed. God is amazing! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
