My Life Was Changed

Over 15 years ago I read a book that radically reshaped me. The words were contrary to my way of thinking and most certainly contrary to the way I was living. In your mind you have already determined the book I am speaking of is the Bible. Am I right?

I did read the Bible, eventually, but the book I speaking of is Seven Principles of a Godly Woman. Two ordinary women invited me into their lives as they transparently shared the struggles they experienced in the dance called Marriage and Family. I had never read anything like it my life. Though I had been in church my whole life, I had never been taught how to prioritize my life and family.

These women encouraged me to put God first, my husband second, and children third. Through their personal examples and Biblical truths I determined to make my marriage and family better by following the seven principles. My marriage and family didn’t radically change for the better overnight, but over time God has been faithful to reshape me, my marriage and family.

The book, now under new name (A Woman’s Secret to a Balanced Life) is still changing lives today. The ministry associated with this book is also still changing lives.
