  1. This is such a great challenge, Wendy – thank you! As I was reading this particular passage, and looking at your bulletpoints, it struck me that I tend to pray for others in accordance with MY will for them – as if I know what is best for them. But this prayer that Paul prayed for the Colossians is so perfect.

  2. “Don’t act thoughtlessly, but try to understand what the Lord wants you to do.” Ephesians 5:17
    Do I miss out on life, because I so often act thoughtlessly. Do I pause enough to stop and think about what the Lord’s will is for me? When I take time to do this I act to fulfill God’s glory and can enter into God’s rest while on this side of heaven.
