My Takeaways

Something Old

This was the third time Jesus had appeared to His disciples since He had been raised from the dead. John 21:14

I wonder what the disciples did between Jesus sightings.

Something New

We need to

  • focus on our commitment to grow our faith.
  • go where the Spirit leads.
  • obey what we are asked to do.

Comparison is so very dangerous to our spiritual health.

Something to Do

Keep my eyes locked on Jesus.

  3. I always love this verse: “Jesus also did many other things. If they were all written down, I suppose the whole world could not contain the books that would be written.” John 21:25 WOW

    this gave me a chuckle: “Do you have anything here to eat?” Luke 24:41b I am on prednisone and that is my constant question! It cracked me up that Jesus’s new body was still hungry.

    “Didn’t our hearts burn within us as he talked with us on the road…” Luke 24:32
    I pray for that too.
