Do You Ever Wonder What to Pray?
Do you ever wonder what to pray? I sure do.
Sometimes prayer can be overwhelming and a bit intimidating. Thank goodness we have a Helper. One that knows exactly what to pray, speaks in a language the Father understands, and aligns the prayer with God’s will.
A. Mazing!
“And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers[l] in harmony with God’s own will.” Rom.8:26-27
We just have to approach God with a pure, confessed heart and honest prayer that admits we don’t know what to pray.
Father, I confess my sin. Bring to mind all that has separated me from you. I repent. I confess that I don’t know how to pray about this situation… it’s overwhelming. I trust Your Holy Spirit to translate the hurt and concern of my heart to the Father so He can respond to my need in harmony with His will for my life and good of this situation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
