My Takeaways

Something Old

Something New

They had no need to fear because their God was watching over them.

This confidence

  • Helped them stay focused on the task of rebuilding.
  • Supplied the energy needed to continue.
  • Bolstered their success.
  • Gave them courage to face their enemies.

As we rebuild and focus on our task, we don’t have to be afraid either.

  • The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous And His ears are open to their cry. (NASB) Psalms 34:15
  • The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever. (NASB) Psalms 121:8
  • The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good. (NIV) Proverbs 15:3
  • So that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. (NIV) Matthew 6:4

Something to Do

Praise Him for His watchful eye.

  1. Thanks so much Wendy for today’s lesson! I really loved it. It is so awesome that God has a watchful eye on me and He has great plans for my life. And that God will allow things to happen but He will also prevent things to happen in my life because He is always watching out for me.
