Change Agent

Don’t be like your ancestors who would not listen or pay attention when the earlier prophets said to them “This is what the LORD of Heavens Armies says: Turn from your evil ways, and stop your evil practices.”
Zechariah 1:4

 

 

My Takeaways

Something Old

The greatest ministry you can ever do “for God” is be the change agent in the life of another person.

If your ancestors were

• without faith, make sure you have one… that you are saved.
• had lukewarm faith, then make sure your faith is hot.
• indifferent to salvation of others, then be a witness wherever you go.
• faithful, then you be even more faithful.

Something New

I can’t imagine the future glory in the Temple being greater than the past glory. I wonder what these words meant to the priests and people when they heard it.

Something to Do

No matter how my ancestral history reads; be a change agent, and make my family history of faith stronger than ever.
