What is righteousness? The condition of being acceptable to God; as made possible by God.

• God’s standard is what defines true righteousness; His power is what enables it.
• Pursuing the character of Christ and desiring holiness more than fleshly indulgence.

The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but he loves him who pursues righteousness. (ESV) Proverbs 15:9

Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.  2 Timothy 2:22

He is it. He gives it. We pursue it.

The pursuit:

• Helps us become more like Him
• Live righteously in an unrighteousness world
• Demonstrate the love, grace, mercy and kindness of Jesus to others
