What Ifs and Who Is

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Phil.4:6-7

As walk with God, sometimes He asks us to do something that is out of our comfort zone, not in our skill set, or even a desire. Yet, even with all of these strikes, we know in our heart that an opportunity such as this could only be from God.

We tremble. We pray. We obey. [Repeat]

Just when we gain some ground and our spiritual confidence grows, the what ifs start shouting. Their shouts cause us to doubt.

We tremble. We pray. We obey. Then we remember

We remember Who called us to this opportunity. We remember what He is capable of. We remember that in our weakness He is our strength, in our doubt He is our confidence, and in our pause He is our peace.

Then we determine to stay the course, believing the best is yet to come
