David had to be fixed on God to know He was:

  1. Hi Wendy
Thank u so very much for this word! & the tools & verses we need to keep our minds fixed on Jesus! Yes for the most of my life there has been this peacelessness & constant warring Battle weary doesn’t even describe the agony@ times!
One thing I keep noticing if I do put all the good of Jesus in I’m so much better & literally not dragging my belly on the ground We must never loose the momentum & if we do just pull ourselves back up with our boot straps! One time @ a mini retreat our guest speaker told us she acquired cancer due to hopelessness Her Christain counselor told her Carrie when u get way out there where r ur feet planted?
Deliberately put you feet back in front of Jesus! Another tool she gave us is what nurses learn Put ur arm straight out like u r reaching for Jesus & say Jesus I am struggling I need ur help & then touch ur heart & say I know u luv me & u will help me Nurses call it self compassion Another tool she showed us a candy cane & her therapist said a lot of things that twist us up are as important as a candy cane! I have a candy can on my counter as a reminder! But mainly my focus is on Jesus my ever present help in my time of need!
Thank u again & May Jesus
    bless u immensely
