  2. I’ve missed posting for a few days but have kept up on the reading and teachings. I have been so blessing by my time in RTW!

Today I was struck by how much sin Jesus has cleansed me of and my lack of praise to him for it. I want to be worshipping him daily, moment by moment.

Also, the last section in prayer reminded me to pray persistently and with faith.

  3. My Takeaways: Jesus Restores

Something Old: Loved the video. Thanks for sharing. 10 lepers healed- receiving what they asked for in faith. One leper acted in faith and gratitude. Thanking Jesus for all that He had given. This leper didn’t just obey Jesus’ command, but he returned to worship and adore Him, to give Him thanks, because he had come to recognize Him as God’s salvation. Because of this, he was saved. I need to consistently remember what Jesus did at the cross for me. The grace that He showered upon me should be the basis for my gratitude. This thankfulness is what motivates me to love both God and men. I never wait to forget my unworthiness and His grace. I too want to become a “leper worshipper,” resulting in more then just a physical healing, but a spirtual healing as well, receiving salvation in Jesus Christ my Lord.

Something New: Luke 17:32 “Remember what happened to Lot’s wife!” Lot’s wife was not prepared for the unexpected. She was unprepared. Fire consumed her life and she became a pillar of salt. I don’t think Lot’s wife was an awful person, but I do think she separated herself from God and got caught up in the worldly way of life. Wasting her time with things that were temporary and not eternal. I don’t want to get caught up in things of this world. I want God’s agenda for my life and my day. How easy it is to become like Lot’s wife. That’s why Jesus uses her as an example of what not to be. So, as I go about my day, I can’t forget Lot’s wife. I want to be prepared for what’s to come and keep Christ at the center of everything I do.

Something To Do: Praise God for who He is and what He has done for me. Don’t get caught up in the worldly way, but keep my eyes opened to what is eternal.
