  1. Something Old: I was introduced to a new Prophet, Obadiah today.God sent Obadiah To let the nation of Edom know His judgement against them. God was not pouring out his judgment against them because He is unfair, but because he demands complete justice and Edom was getting caught up in their own pride, wealth and their action against the Israelites, God’s people.

Something New: The Edomites ignored and mocked God. They did not help the Israelites. They sinned against God’s people. They were foolish because they did not understand God’s wisdom.

Something To Do: Don’t behave like the Edomites be willing to help others in time of need. Do not rejoice about other people’s misfortunes even when I think they deserve it. Remember that God will judge me in the way that I judge others.
