  2. I absolutely loved hearing this today! I am in the process of shedding much of my “outer reality.” My daughter is going off to college, I sold our house, I’m having an estate sale to sell most of the things in it, and am downsizing from 2700 square feet of living space to 1300! I will also wake up, in September, for the first time without my child in the room next to me every day. Talk about shedding what had defined me!
    So, hearing you say who I am inside is what should show on the outside is exactly what I’m trying to do!
    I feel at peace with who I am. I feel content in how I’ve prepared my daughter for this next phase of her life. I look around now at all the “stuff” and realize it’s just that. Outward expressions of another way of thinking. Another way I showed the world who I thought I was. Without all the defining objects, I am looking forward to being able to show the world how I feel inside. Who I feel I am inside. Released from packaging.
    I think it’s going to feel so much easier and lighter. I hope I’m right!
