Is. All. Every.
And God.
Let’s start our day with these words: And God.
My child is struggling in school….And God.
I know she is getting the promotion not me…And God.
The doctor is supposed to call today with the results…And God.
My husband hasn’t hugged me in so long…And God.
I blew it with my teenager…And God.
My toddler is driving me crazy…And God.
Can you add more to this “And God” list? I am sure if we were in a room sipping on our favorite morning beverage and nibbling on yummy breakfast goodies we could fill the room with “And God” situations. Mercy. Life is hard sometime.
No matter what situation we face we don’t have to stuff our feelings, allowing them to build barriers around our heart. Viewing our situation through the lenses of healthy expectations enables us to confidently face our feelings and live free of barriers. Where do we go to determine healthy and realistic expectations? How can we live them out rather explode or stuff? And God…
2 Corinthians 9:8
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” NIV
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” The Message
I love this- And God…. will be written out in my journal today. I plan to take some of my issues to Him in prayer and be reminded that He has got this- no matter what I see sometimes. Thank you for this post
