Study Questions

If I want a new heart I can ask for one. Create in me oh Lord…fashion, shape, and repair
Word Study Wednesday
“Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” Psalm 51:12
Wow! I love the power of this verse! Notice the joy David wants returned is God’s joy not his own. (Joy of “thy” salvation.) Notice the joy of God’s salvation includes laughter. Oh how I love to laugh and to laugh with the Lord. David knows he needs a ready and consenting spirit.
Restore [return back] to me the joy [gladness, exultation, rejoicing, laughter] of your salvation [deliverance, rescue, safety, and welfare] and grant [establish, uphold] me a willing [cheerful, consenting, ready] spirit to sustain me.
Can we ask for the same thing?
