What a wonderful way to begin my day, in song. Just as I Am, has special memories of the Billy Graham crusades. I used to watch the crusades on tv. When Billy invited people to give their lives to the Lord and come forward to receive Him and let others know that they are “lambs of God”, the choir would sing, “Just as I Am”.
I was blessed to see the crowd of people giving themselves, openly, to God’s grave and love. Years ago, as a young girl, I gave my heart to Jesus. I meant it. Sometimes, I slip and fall but our Lord picks me up. I’m thankful for all He has done, for me.
Thanks so much for this version of “Just as I Am”.
At sometime, I’d like to see a video of Bev Shea singing, “Unshackled”. He’s my mom’s favorite singer and that song is her favorite.
