Faith-Full

“Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.” 2 Kings 4:2b

Sometimes life is hard, really hard. We face times of uncertainty that cause our faith to waver. We hope God will show us a miracle but doubt one will ever come.  Our circumstances tear us down, causing our faith to dry up.

A crisis of faith gives provides the perfect opportunity to stretch what is left of our parched faith. In vulnerability choose to surrender all our doubt, dread, and fear to God. In this surrender He exchanges empty faith-less future for one full of faith.

In times when faith is short and troubles are long we can trust Him to fill our jars with enough faith to lead us through the known as well as the unknown. Trust Him to keep your faith jar full.

  1. I really love reading the devotions from OBS. It gives hope and teaches me on how to handle certain situations.

  2. Thank you for the encouragement . My faith has been short lately .. Instead of beating myself up for not having enough faith I am asking God to help me to trust him more(:
