  1. John 3:16-17 MSG “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.

I thank God for sending His son so we could be saved for all eternity. I thank God for parents who took me to church and raised me to believe in a loving God!!!

  6. I am thankful that God’s love consumes me when i am totally surrendered to His Spirit. This is what sustains me and helps me persevere in face of many daily challenges from bearing a chronic illness that often brings pain and robs me of my physical strength. 11. I am thankful to be alive and well along with my family after the devastation the tornado brought into our lives on Sunday night. 82 people injured and no fatalities. God is good! I ask you all to please pray for us as we piece back together our lives here in Hattiesburg,MS. There are no words to describe the sheer horror of being in a bathtub with your child as you hover over him and pray out loud for God’s protection. Be thankful ladies, life is not guaranteed but the love from our Lord and Savior is!

    1. This puts so very much in perspective and I do thank God, but also extend such deep sympathy and compassion for those who have experienced this type of sheer horror. (tears well up as I think of the fear of this child in a bathtub with such turmoil surrounding.) I will continue to lift those in need before His throne…..and ask that HE keep me ever-mindful of those who endure great heartache and challenge…..looking out instead of in all the time! I am thankful that He is able to do this and much more for me and others with willing hearts.

  12. I am thankful that a diagnosis I got from my doctor Monday doesn’t define the rest of my life and that God is in control. I am thankful that my God is more than just God, he is Healer, Comforter, Friend and SO much more!

  13. I am thankful for God’s love. I am thankful even in my most stubborn moments, I come to realize that God is in control.

  16. Today I am thankful of being reminded just who I am in Christ and simply called to serve Him with a humble heart in all I do or say to others. Early in my day i was driving about and the Word of God came to me, ‘ Do good to all people , especially to those in the household of faith’ (Galatians 6 v10). Now I just desire for my heart to overflow with doing good to others, not with just what comes naturally but more than that. I was also reminded of the verse you asked us to read on Thurs study- 1 Corinthians 10 v31 about doing everything to the glory of God.
Those two verses combined together have had great effect in me. Thanks for motivating me through this weeks Psalm 54 study.

  17. I am thankful that God forgives my sins as I continue to let go and let God take control of my life.

  18. Dear Wendy & Sisters:
For weeks God has been telling me that my perspective, attitude and choice were wrong. I could not understand it. Wrong attitude make me unkind,. wrong choice unwise and wrong perspective selfish.
I have to remember I’m not in control. God is the supreme authority so he calls the shots and I have to accep his will.
Trust him. He can see the big picture.
    God bless you.
