Humanly Speaking…

I said yesterday, “Today will be different.” I am happy to report it was. There was a specific situation that I was able to walk away from as to not become unglued. I went back to situation and handled calmly. Yes Lord!

Any reports out there?

My favorite line from today’s devotion is: But hard doesn’t mean impossible.

So often I avoid trying anything because I fear failure. The enemy taunted me with competition and fear of failure as I as growing up. He knew he could not steal my salvation so he did everything he could to destroy my effectiveness as one of God’s girls. Through God’s grace and perseverance I have reclaimed much of the real estate he stole but every so often my mind presses rewind to play the oldie but not so goldie tune from the past.

Hard doesn’t mean impossible. Yes, I like that!

How do you feel about this statement? Is anyone facing something hard and needed to be reminded that it is not impossible?  “Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” Matthew 19:26 NLT
