My Take Aways

Something Old:

1 Timothy 4:4
Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks.”  I am something good God created.  I need to accept not reject myself and give Him thanks.

Something New:

Pursuing godliness profits our spiritual health as well as our physical health.

  • It brings peace and direction which reduces anxieties.
  • It brings joy and contentment which promotes good mental health.
  • It brings hope and life which reduces tension.

We pursue godliness (reverence, respect) as we get to know Him.  We get to know Him by spending time with Him through prayer and study of His unfailing Word.

Something to Do:

Say aloud, “I am something good God created.  I will accept my life, not reject it and give thanks.”
