Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7
My Takeaways
Something Old
When I…
- Rejoice in the Lord (Be glad)
- Am gentle with others
- Surrender my anxiety
- Pray with thanksgiving
Then I…
- Will experience God’s peace, that exceeds our understand, will guard our hearts and minds.
Peace is not a result of my hands, but a result of my heart.
Something New
Paul experienced sorry. (Philippians 2:27)
Something to Do
Follow through the when so I can experience the then
Thank you for this message today, Wendy. ❤️ I needed to hear it.
Philippians 4: 4-7…….This is an ideal verse to write on a note card, post it in a spot where you sit, and read it every day.
Yes! I’m behind on my reading, but I agree with you. There is so much in Philippians. Yesterday’s reading contains verses that have become my prayer for my family (Phil1:9-11) and then that reminder to humble myself and lift Christ. And now this beautiful passage about true joy and peace that should be read everyday! This book is packed with goodness!
