My Takeaways
Something Old
James Moffatt wrote of these verses, “To comment adequately on these diamond drops would be outline a history of the Christian experience in its higher levels.”
- Always try to do good to each other and all people. (all times)
- Always rejoice (evermore- at all times, forever)
- Always pray (properly, nothing left between, without any unnecessary interval (time-gap)
- Always give thanks (all, every)
Something New
Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by the splendor of His coming. 2 Thessalonians 2:8
Satan will be destroyed by the splendor of His coming. Oh, I hope I can witness this.
Something to Do
Live out the final words of Paul’s letter to the church.
I had to chuckle because it was a big deal with my siblings when we were young to get a “do-over.” It’s nice God gives us those!
