Seeing and Still Not Believing
But despite all the miraculous signs Jesus had done, most of the people still did not believe in him.

Something Old
Despite what they’d seen, they still didn’t believe.
- What am I not seeing because I don’t believe? (John 12:37)
- Do others know what I believe? (John 12:42) Am I a closet Christian?
- What do I love more that God’s praise? (infinite and intrinsic worth) (John 12:43)
Something New
John 12:44-50 are Jesus’ last words to the public. Read them again with this mind. WOW.
- If you trust me, you are trusting in God.
- If you see me, you are seeing God.
- I have come, so you don’t have to live in darkness.
- God’s commands lead to eternal life.
In essence Jesus was saying: I and the Father are one. We are offering eternal life.
