Love Of The Fire

Just as silver, copper, iron, lead, and tin are melted down in a furnace, I will melt you down in the heat of my fury.

My Takeaways

Something Old

I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one. Ezekiel 22:30

God looked for someone to rebuild, but found no one. Has He looked for someone to take on a modern-day project, and been unable to find someone?

Something New

The Refiner

• doesn’t want to destroy the silver/metal, He wants to recover it.
• knows the only way to show the true value of the metal is turn up the heat, and melt away all the impurities.
• Sees the potential of each piece of corrupted corroded metal
• Values the process by supervising the process, and keeping the fire at just the right temperature until the process is complete.

Something to Do

Don’t fight the fire of God’s love.
