The Why Of The Praise

O LORD, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God.
Isaiah 25:1a

 

 

My Takeaways

Something Old

Regardless of what is happening on earth or in the Heavenlies…

Honor and praise His name (Isaiah 25:1)

Why? For what he does and is doing.

• He does such wonderful things. (Isaiah 25:2)
• He accomplishes His plans. (Isaiah 25:2)
• He rules, reigns, and protects. (Isaiah 25:2-3)
• He is a refuge to the poor. (Isaiah 25:4)

Why? For what He will do.

• He will prepare a banquet for the world. (Isaiah 25:6)
• He will remove the shadow of death forever. (Isaiah 25:7-8)
• He will wipe away all tears. (Isaiah 25:8)
• He will remove all insults and mocking against Him. (Isaiah 25:8)

Something New

In that day the deaf will hear words read from a book, and the blind will see through the gloom and darkness. Isaiah 29:18

I love this so much! My Blaire has such a heart for the deaf community. One day, in that day, they will hear words read from a book. Praise be to God!

Something to Do
