Something to Do
Determine what I am looking for…
My Takeaways: I read 77 Proverbs today, almost impossible to figure out which one to focus on, because they are all so good!
Something Old: “Who can say; I have cleansed my heart I am pure and free from sin?” A reoccurring theme throughout the Bible. No one is without sin. It seems as soon as I confess and repent I fall short again. I think God for his mercy and forgiveness. I must rely on God minute-by-minute for the cleansing I need.
Something New: “The Lord preserves those with knowledge, but he ruins the plans of the treacherous.” Proverbs 22:12
Its not easy to live God’s way. It takes work and a conscience effort on my part. But knowledge is having the wisdom to know it’s the only way and that when I do, God will protect me and reward me for the effort I put into it. Those who don’t follow God’s way-their lifes amount to nothing. If I don’t resist God I can expect lasting success.
Something To Do: Don’t resist God. Thank God for his forgiveness and Mercy.
