  1. My Takeaways: Four more psalms, two of which were not David’s (88, 89).

Something Old: Because God is full of love He will satisfy all my needs when I put my trust in Him.

Something New: Psalm 145- I found some interesting information about this Psalm. It is different than the others because it is written in the form of an acrostic. David started each line with a letter from the Hebrew alphabet. However, the Hebrew letter nun, which is our letter “N,” was missing from the list. Later, when the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, the “missing nun” was finally discovered (1948). It says, “The Lord is faithful in all His words and gracious in all His works.” I think that’s some good information. “I will praise you every day” (v.2). Imagine how different the world would be if we practice this everyday. But how wonderful to know that there will come a time when all people will join together in recognizing and praising God. I love the concept of using the alphabet to praise Him. I couldn’t agree with you more, Wendy, about this Psalm, it’s beautiful and a great reminder to me in the importance of being able to turn to God for help. He is ready to lift me up and bear my burden because He is the one and only true and almighty God.

Something To Do: Remember who God is and what he can do. Take time to praise Him daily.
