This is a powerful lesson for me. personally!!
I’m waiting to get to the West Side, and yes it has been tough……
…so now with this lesson, it has given me new insight that when I/we get there, I/we must be prepared to still battle!! In my humanness, it is so difficult to continue battling…..however, I must stay on the path God has for me…Praise His Name!!
Have a great day RTW Friends!
My Takeaways: Obey, obey and obey. I think I read those words today at least 10x. Do you think God is trying to tell me something?
Something Old: Wow, what rich reading today. A few of my favorite verses popped out at me today. Deuteronomy 4:29 “… and if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him.” God wants a relationship with me. He wants all of me.
Deuteronomy 5:10 “But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands.” Oh how He has loved you and me from the very beginning. He give the Israelites the promised land, but he gave me His son – Jesus! “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son…” So much spoke to me in the reading today. What a wonderful section of reading!
Something New: “Moses called all the people of Israel together and said, “Listen carefully, Israel. Hear the decrees and regulations I am giving you today, so you may learn from them and obey them!”
-Deuteronomy 5:1. HEAR, LEARN and OBEY what great advice!
Something To Do: I must take in completely and come to know the word of God. I must gain knowledge and understand what His word is teaching me. I must put into action all of what I know and understand if I want to continue to grow in a stronger relationship with My Lord. I must LOVE HIM enough to OBEY what he says.
