God is a promise keeper

Galatians 3:29
If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (NIV)

  • An abundance of grace for every good work – 2 Corinthians 9: 8
  • An understanding of the mystery of God’s will – Ephesians 1:9
  • Divine guidance – Romans 8:14
  • Happiness – Matthew 5, Beatitudes
  • Security – Psalm 91
  • Co-laborers with God – 1 Corinthians 3:9
  • Seated in heavenly places with Christ – Ephesians 2:6

  1. So many promises-see how very much He loves us! Our family verse is Jeremiah 29:11 – paraphrased: Look forward to each day… For God has such great plans to prosper you and give you an incredible future!

    I loved today’s lesson. It appeared so boring with all the genealogy until I listened to Wendy. Thanks for the insight.

    Divine guidance – Romans 8:14
    If I remember who I am I will start acting like who I am. When I do, I will find that I can say “No” to the flesh, and “Yes” to the Spirit, and to walk in a way that glorifies God.

    Galatians 5:18-23

    Something To Do: I must remember that I have been born into God’s family through the Spirit who imparts new life. I have been adopted into God’s family as His chosen heirs. I must make sure my actions reflect these truths.
