RTW December 3

What I Once Was

‘But Lord,’ I argued, ‘they certainly know that in every synagogue I imprisoned and beat thos who believe in you.’
Acts 22:19

My Takeaways

Something Old

Do I hold the coats of persecutors? (Acts 22:20)

Something New

We can’t allow how others knew us from way back when, to keep us from

  • Running from our call.
  • Progressing in our faith.
  • Obeying God.
  • Shy away from certain places and people.

I was that way, but now I am this way.

“I am not what I ought to be, I am not what I want to be, I am not what I hope to be in another world; but still I am not what I once used to be, and by the grace of God I am what I am.” John Newton

Something to Do

Don’t let my past direct my future.
