The Ministry of Giving

Since you excel in so many ways – in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us, – I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving.
2 Corinthians 8:7

 

 

My Takeaways

Something Old

Paul commends the churches for their gracious giving.

• Give in proportion to what we have.
• Give eagerly.
• Give according to what we have, not what we don’t have.

We can excel in giving when we first give ourselves to the Lord. (2 Corinthians 8:5)
