Focus On What’s Important
Then I, Daniel, was overcome and lay sick for several days. Afterward I got up and performed my duties for the king, but I was greatly troubled by the vision and could not understand it.

Did Daniel tell anyone why he fell sick for several days?

There are and will be things that I don’t understand. (Deut. 29:29)
Regardless of what I do or don’t understand, I need to focus on what is most important.
- His Kingdom will last forever. (Revelation 11:15)
- We will live forever. (John 5:24)
- I need to be about the King’s and Kingdom’s business.
He said to them, “Why did you have to look for me? Didn’t you know that I had to be concerning myself with my Father’s affairs?” But they didn’t understand what he meant. (CJB) Luke 2:49-50
What is our King’s business?
- “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30-31
- “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
