Stay Strong When You Are Not In The Wrong

And the man said to me, “Daniel, you are very precious to God, so listen carefully to what I have to say to you.”
Daniel 10:11a

My Takeaways

Something Old

Appointed time…so many references to “appointed time.” God has every thing prepared and planned. I’m so thankful for this.

Something New

O Daniel, man greatly beloved,… (ESV) Repeated in Daniel 10:19 also in Daniel 9:23.

Daniel remained faithful while in a hostile work position.

How do we stay strong when we are not in the wrong?

  • He never compromised his convictions.
  • He never changed his usual habits.
  • He never demonstrated hostility.
  • He never became puffed up with pride.
  • He never heard from God without obeying.

I am greatly loved. You are greatly loved.

  • For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (ESV) John 3:16
  • For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (NIV) Ephesians 2:10
  • But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (NIV) Romans 5:8
  • See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! (NIV)  1 John 3:1a

Something to Do

Stay strong.
