Keep Praying

Are you praying for something or someone?

Does it seem like you’ve been praying without results?

When it seems my prayers are forgotten or ignored I remember Daniel’s plight. He prayed. He prayed for 21 days and heard nothing. Then “he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia.” (Daniel 10:12-13)

Maybe you are like me and have been praying for something and several someones for longer than 21 days, this verse can still lift us up. The enemy is fighting fearlessly to keep the answer to our prayer away. Heaven’s armies are at work in our favor, and like Daniel, in due time God’s answer will come and it will be better than we could ever expect. The answer will be worth the wait.

Let’s keep praying. Delayed doesn’t mean denied.
