They Are Watching

Later King Zedekiah secretly requested that Jeremiah come to the place where the king asked him, “Do you have any messages from the LORD?”

My Takeaways

Something Old

Sometimes obedience leads us to “prison.” (A dead-end job, a difficult relationship)

Something New

The ungodly will be drawn to the godly. Like a moth drawn to the light; those we think are godless and worldly will be drawn to us in times of crisis.

• Live my faith out loud, but don’t scream it.
• Direct people to the Word, but don’t beat them over the head with it.
• Love others like Jesus, but don’t shame them for not loving others.

And when they come to us, receive them rather than judging them.

Something to Do

Be ready. They will turn to us.
