  1. I’m going on a sugar fast. No sugar!!! This will be hard for me also. I know it’ll help me lose weight but more important, to decrease inflammation in my body. Also to rely on God, not food.

    1. Shirley, this has been on my heart as I’ve indulged the last 6 months more then usual but I never associated it with the increase of my pain. Confirmation I need this to be my goal this year. Also completing RTW this year. Praying for you!

    2. Girls after reading some of your posts regarding (sugar) I have to tell ya that I had to go on a no sugar diet due to a long standing health issues. I did loose about 10-12# over about a month and a half. I might suggest though that it’s not just the sugar you eat that causes weight gain but the carbs that one consumes turns into sugar as well. I wasn’t aware of this until I was put on a candidiasis diet. It did help with decreasing joint discomfort. Also a diet free of dairy will absolutely help with joint pain etc. Hope this helps.
I think a goal for me will be to finish what I set out to do. Like read the bible in 365 days. and finish making my wooden Christmas trees for a craft show (hopefully) next fall.

      1. Gail, thank you for the information. I didn’t realize diary caused trouble. Our weather change has really effected my whole body pain I was not even able to read because of head pain. Praying today will be better but not starting off well. I didnt

          1. Thank you Gail! With Fibromyalgia winter months are the worst but with Christ he keeps me going.

    1. I just wanted to share that, if obtaining this particular Bible in print or ebook version is difficult or you won’t have it by January 1st, that you can access it for free on the publisher’s website, http://www.oneyearbibleonline.com, or as a reading plan on the YouVersion bible reading app. Hope this helps.

      1. Good to know Melissa. I ordered my Bible just before Christmas. I have started reading in my NIV through the book of Genesis and will start chapter 4 today.

  4. Dear Wendy, I feel like this invitation was for me personally. I have done RTW with you in the past. I agree – it is life changing! I haven’t done RTW for the last few years but just the other day I was asking some friends what their Bible reading plan was for 2019. No one had anything specific to tell me….and then this morning, I got your invitation. And there was your sweet face looking at me on my screen, asking me to join you this year. I have tears in my eyes as I write this. God is so good. I feel far away from Him lately (the busyness of the season – all the distractions). And yet, He reaches out to me in love and grace, and, in His faithfulness, extends His welcome to me to come back to Him. Thank you Wendy, for listening to Him and sending this video invite. I’m all in.

  5. I did this RTW for a couple of years. This past year I did a different plan with a friend. I want to do this plan again for 2019. If I bought it before, do I need to purchase again? Also, how do I find the Facebook page?

    1. NikkiB, login to online studies link/membership login above, using your membership ID and password. It will tell you when/if your membership expires.

  6. I took last year off from RTW, but I’m coming back for 2019. I find when I don’t do this study I’m not in the word as much as I should be. This will help me to be disciplined in my reading and study.

I also need to get back to healthy eating. I’ve fallen off the wagon and really need to get back on to help with my back pain and inflammation. I look forward to sharing this journey with you all.

    1. Hi Carol! Me too on both counts!! 2019 is going to be quite a year! Trusting God to take the reins!!

  7. This year will be different as my husband is reading the Bible for the first time. Praise God! He chose to do it with the chronological Bible. I have invited him to do RTW, with me (as that is how I read through the whole Bible for the first time over five years ago), but I’m leaving that in God’s hands. BTW, I have become a word nerd, too. ???

  8. Wendy,

So glad to embark on this blessed journey with you again!!! This bible has changed my life as well. I purchased it as a Christmas gift for my mother this year and suggested it to a family friend. Can’t wait see you January 1.

  9. 2019 will be my 3rd year of RTW. It has become a special part of my day. I’ve grown in knowledge and in spirit. I’m so glad my friend, Barbara, introduced me to Wendy and the RTW family. ❤️??

  10. HI Wendy,
I did your study back in 2010 and 2011 and loved it. Time to join back in! Thanks for the personal invite!

  11. I have been with RTW since the beginning, and plan to start from the beginning again in January. I am happy to be reading God’s word in a group setting like this with other like-minded believers. Thank you, Wendy for continuing this study.

  12. This video was beautiful Wendy. It’s amazing how you can speak as if you are speaking privately and directly to each one of us. God has blessed you with such a special gift. This is my 5th year with RTW. I am so grateful to have Wendy and this community to study with.

  13. I am changing my eating habits to become healthier. Began Jan 1 and so far so good! Also, reading thru the bible and journaling…which is very new to me. Excited!
