Don’t you love gifts? I do. God, the One who spoke all creation into place has a free gift for you. This is a great free gift, the greatest you will ever receive. There are no strings attached. He offers this gift to anyone, yes, anyone who will accept it, regardless of the past or present sin in your life. This gift is called Salvation.
God sent His only Son to earth, to live a perfect life in a fallen world so that you and I could have eternal life with Him in heaven. I can’t imagine anyone in this world that I would willing sacrifice my son for. The thing that amazes me is that God knew we were sinners and yet He loved us enough to send His only Son to be our means of a life full and free.
The way to Calvary was hard for Jesus. He even asked His Father if there was some other way for us to spend eternity in heaven, but His death was the only way. Jesus willingly walked the road to Calvary for you and for me. They way was hard for Jesus but He made it easy for us.
If you wish to accept this free gift from God, the gift of salvation and a life full and free, simply pray the following prayer: admit that you are a sinner in need of a Savior, tell the Lord you believe what He did for you, and confess that you are a sinner in need of a Savior then invite Him to be Lord of your life.
The ABCs of Becoming Saved
A Admit
Admit to God that your are a sinner Repent, turning away from sin.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
B Believe

For God so loved the world that gave His one and only son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us ours sins and purify from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

If I don’t meet you on this earth, I will see at the celebration in Heaven when we all will meet at the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.

I just read your 2/11 devotion and it hit home w me today b/c it is EXACTLY HOW I AM FEELING! I am struggling w my divorce (my husband left me for another woman) which isn’t final yet and trying to stay focused on God thru it all, but it is extremely hard at times. I know God is always right there with me, but I feel i can’t go on at times. I just want to run away from all of this chaos and wake up from this nightmare that I cannot believe I am living. I’m tired of fighting and trying to keep myself together enough to get thru each day. I feel like I pray the same prayer over and over which is “Give me strength and grace Lord” That is all I know to say. Your devotion helped me to be refreshed in God’s promises. Thank you.
I don’t know what just came over me reading the A,B,C’s, but I just started crying and thanking Jesus for all he did for Me. I feel so horrible that he had to die for me, and I am forever thankful for that. That is not something I could ever do because I am selfish. I admit it, I am selfish. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and loving me. I am learning and trying my hardest to develope a deep, and wonderful relationship with the LORD and I thank this website for helping guide me along the way! I love it!
Thank you for sharing.
