Free Gift from God

Don’t you love gifts? I do. God, the One who spoke all creation into place has a free gift for you. This is a great free gift, the greatest you will ever receive. There are no strings attached. He offers this gift to anyone, yes, anyone who will accept it, regardless of the past or present sin in your life. This gift is called Salvation.

God sent His only Son to earth, to live a perfect life in a fallen world so that you and I could have eternal life with Him in heaven. I can’t imagine anyone in this world that I would willing sacrifice my son for. The thing that amazes me is that God knew we were sinners and yet He loved us enough to send His only Son to be our means of a life full and free.

The way to Calvary was hard for Jesus. He even asked His Father if there was some other way for us to spend eternity in heaven, but His death was the only way. Jesus willingly walked the road to Calvary for you and for me. They way was hard for Jesus but He made it easy for us.

If you wish to accept this free gift from God, the gift of salvation and a life full and free, simply pray the following prayer: admit that you are a sinner in need of a Savior, tell the Lord you believe what He did for you, and confess that you are a sinner in need of a Savior then invite Him to be Lord of your life.

The ABCs of Becoming Saved

A Admit

Admit to God that your are a sinner Repent, turning away from sin.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

B Believe

Believe that Jesus is God’s Son and accept His gift of forgiveness from sin
For God so loved the world that gave His one and only son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

C Confess

Confess your faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us ours sins and purify from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

If you have prayed this prayer please share it with me and my friends at Proverbs 31 Ministries. We want to send you a gift to celebrate this day.

Yes I accepted Jesus as my Savior

Bless you Friend! You have just made the greatest decision of your life!

If I don’t meet you on this earth, I will see at the celebration in Heaven when we all will meet at the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.

I would be very interested in joining this group of women in reading thru the Bible in one year. I have a Daily Bible that is a chronological Bible in the NIV version. Would that work as well or do I have to have the one you are talking about. I have read through the Bible before, but not in chronological order, sounds interesting.

Look at him; give him your warmest smile. Never hide your feelings from Him. Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see–how good GOD is. Blessed are you when you run to him. God keeps an eye on his friends, his ears pick up every moan and groan. God pays for each slave’s freedom; no one who runs to him loses out. Psalm 34

All I can say is ‘OUCH’…This is SO me that it is not even funny. Please pray for me and my controlling spirit as I learn to humble myself under God’s hands, and allow Him lead others to the place where HE wants them to be. It is not an easy journey for me at all!!

I was looking on here for a printable version of the daily readings. But I will meander over to the one year bible site and get one there. I dont have the chronological version either but I’m using the versions I have and listening to the lessons and writing down what I hear and see. I can feel a difference in me when I miss a day or three. Wow.

  10. Ann says:

Where do I sign up for the daily Bible readings for a year? Thanks! Ann, Blessed!

  11. Ronda Hutson says:

I have been reading the word for a while but really have never accepted or said it with meaning until now that I truly am saved and what our god did for me. There was never any meaning until now.thank you for helping accept christ again and this time with meaning I am excited for my new meaningful journey, THANK YOU for the new way in my life thru christ. Now where do I go for daily bible readings and a study. I am wanting to dig in but am lost as to where to go or start.
My life, I have felt has had no meaning until I found you and now I feel refreshed and feel like I can move into Gods plan for me now.
    Blessings in Christ!!!!

I would like to try this chronological reading of the Bible. But I know I need to do it with others/guidance, which is why I came to your website when it was recommended through Suzie’s Blog. Will you be doing this again for 2012? Should I still purchase a NLT chronological Bible or will you be using something else for 2012? I don’t see anything labeled as “Instructional Videos” under the menu Read Thru the Word.

Thank you and have a most blessed day.

  13. Cheryl E says:

    Wendy,
I just stumbled onto your site a few days ago. Or maybe it was a Holy Spirit intervention. However, I would love to join in your Bible study! Will you be doing this again in 2012? What chronological Bible do I need to get? Will the study begin on Jan. 1?

  14. Mary Ann says:

Hi Wendy, Can you tell me the exact bible and the version that you’re using for the RTW 2012? Is it any chronological bible or a certain type? I have been watching the videos but I”m not sure of the bible especially when you mentioned a certain page on the other video.

I’m also doing the Psalm 1 sutdy and I love it.

  16. Hi Wendy (& staff?)

Last week I had a fellow co-worker share your online Bible study with me & I registered for the online Psalm study.I Really appreciate that you have found a way to help busy women stay connected to the Word and the Lord in a profound way!

My friend forwarded the 1st 2 weeks of PDF masters for study. I completed them last evening & couldn’t wait to begin the one for the 3rd week (a little late), today.

Perhaps you can tell me what I should do…..
    1. I thought that I subscribed to take the course when I submitted request to be added to mailing.
    (is that right?)

    2. If so, I received the Mon. video study, but not the PDF page (is there one?)

    3. Did not receve a PDF study page for Wednesday, 1/19.

I prefer to study with text (vs video) & plan to archive all study questions in a 3-ring binder

Any light that you can shed on these queries will be most appreciated!!!

    • Stephanie W says:

      Kathy “Z”,
I’m just discovering this section of the website. Did you get your questions answered? If you go to Online.e Studies at the top and click on Psalm Study, there is an instructional video.
