  1. Wendy I really needed this today, going through a lot right now and sometimes I get confused and down and low and just want to throw my hand in the air and say ok you win. But I don’t give up and I’m not a quitter just need some help sometime and you were there today thanks.

  2. Wendy – Congratulations on your book!! I’m sure that’s the reason for all the opposition in your life right now. But don’t worry, “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper. . . This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. . . ” (Is 54:17). I read most of the first chapter last night and couldn’t stop reading. Can’t wait to read the rest!

I love the wisdom that Zerubbabel and Jeshua had to recognize it as a deceptive tactic of the enemy. They didn’t let there be any kinks in their armor so as to let the opposition in. Oh how we need to be vigilant to the powers darkness! Your lesson today reminds us to do just that! – Love in Jesus, Rose

  3. Wendy,
What a great experience to share. When I say “great” I mean extremely important. Bad forces are satan’s attempts. When you are living close to God and doing things that are pleasing to God, you become a huge target to the devil. I am convinced that this is the case. So thank you for reminding us that as Christians, if we’re living as God wants us to, and there is opposition despite following God; we need to draw even closer to God for protection. There will ALWAYS be opposition – even from people you wouldn’t expect. Isaiah 43: 1-2 (“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you…..”

  4. Thank you Wendy! Your encouragement and depth of knowledge and grace in the scriptures were an inspiration to me when I had the great fortune to hear you in person and continue with you through your messages. Indeed darkness could not comprehend the light in the beginning and will never for eternity. We will succeed by the grace of his love.

  5. Wendy,
This was such a revelation for me. Thank you.
Have been having some health issues, and have been told to give up caffeine – but I give it up a couple of days, then along comes temptation and I stop at Star Bucks and ask for a decaf – which I have been told is not totally decaf.
Now I have something to remember and tell myself when along comes opposition: “You may have no part in this work”.
Thank you for inspiring message. Rokhshie

  6. If these forces of opposition only knew that they are only serving to make us stronger as we fight against them!

  7. Enjoyed so much today’s devo. We are in a waiting period that has changed our life temporarily. Sometimes we feel absolutely consumed by it. But…we know that God does have a plan and He will unfold it in His time and way. We must get out of His way and allow God to work!!! We must be faithful to His word and promises. Excited about this book. Thank you!

  8. Waiting is difficult, I think often of Sarah as she waited for her son and even scoffed that the promise would be fulfilled in her old age, I am no better. Many years ago we lost everything, our business, our home, and half of our family. My pride has had a spotlight on it more than once and I have been humbled many times. I am still waiting, for a home of my own, for some type of financial relief, for the ability to help my children get a good education so that they can be independent. God is so good but I find myself often full of anxiety as I wait. I am looking forward to this study. Thank you!

  9. God is all about timing and waiting is part of His plan as it is being tested by fire as believer in our path of faith with Yeshua. I declare victory upon all the circumstances we are living and deliverance from any weapon from the devil since the Lord is with us and if Yeshua is with us who can be against me! Believe and Receive what the Lord does through us In teh Name of Yeshua. Amen.

The Lord says:”…1 Peter 4:13 But rejoice that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed at the revelation of His glory”. We are rejoicing in the sharing of the sufferings of Christ! Alleluja sisters i Yeshua!.

  10. Thank you for this devotional today. I know that we all go through times of waiting on the Lord and wonder when God will answer our prayers. I have been praying for a wayward son for 19 yrs and I have learned to Trust God because His timing is perfect!!

  11. Hi, Wendy, I really needed your message this morning as I am “waiting” to see if I need a cornea transplant. What makes it even more difficult is that I support my husband, who has chronic regional pain syndrome and has not worked in 17 years. I tend to “go my own way” and NOT wait it out. Can’t wait to read your book!

  12. Your message was inspiring! I would like to be considered for a chance of getting this book. My family is now going through a rough time. My husband has been diagnosed with cancer and receiving treatment. My son had a breakdown due to this news. It has been difficult. I am waiting for God to step in to heal them. This book would definitely help me understand stand the wait! Please consider me! God bless! Ruby Villegas, 721 W. Tucker St., Hobbs, NM 88242.

  13. It is so interesting how God works! Today I went open my email and this was on the screen. I was feeling very weary before I read it. I have several areas of life I’m waiting for help from God. I have been having trouble walking for about a year now. I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and a ruptured plantar fascia in my other foot making it difficult to walk without pain, so I have been waiting for healing. I’m also waiting and hoping for healing for my son who has been very affected by allergies and asthma that has been difficult to control. I am also waiting for my daughter that has autism to share a conversation with,I really want to know what she is thinking! Last night while I was praying to God, I was asking him “where are you?” I felt so weary and questioned God if he noticed me anymore. This article surprisingly answered that question in the affirmative for me! Thank you!
