TGFABT – Psalm 59

Justice in the Hand of the Just

“Deliver me from my enemies, O God.”
Psalm 59:1

  • We will not always understand the injustice we suffer or the world suffers.
  • We can pray for God’s justice.
  • We can ask God for justice when we are sure our heart is right with God.
  • We can and should trust God to defend our honor and defeat our enemy

You are my strength, I watch for you; you, God, are my fortress,  my God on whom I can rely

“You are my strength [force, security, majesty and praise], I watch [wait, keep, preserve]. God, [Elohim] are my fortress, my God [Elohim] on whom I can rely.”
