I agree that you have to dive in with total submission to God’s word. You can’t do it half way! The goal is to squeeze the worldliness out of your life and let God reign supreme. We try to kid ourselves that a little bit of the world won’t hurt, but we are just letting the devil in. We have to guard our heart and our lives from the devil’s influence daily.
loved that on your site (a fortified heart)you talked about the ark of the covenant (God) and in the “jericho” story-how they followed God (his presence) and then today’s reading -your nugget on abiding. Oh girls—can’t you just feel God’s presence when we are in his word and the holy spirit’s nudging us for what he wants to “say”.
