TGFABT – Psalm 36

If We Will, He Will

“Continue Your love to those who know you,Your righteousness to the upright in heart.”
Psalm 36:10

How do we know God?

Submit to His Leadership

Know
Yada’ (yaw-dah)-to perceive and see, find out and discern, to know by experience

How do we maintain an upright heart?

Obey His Words

Upright
Yashar (yaw-shawr’)- right, pleasing, correct

Truth Tuesday

I want to know God.

I want my heart to upright.

Oh, to have an oracle!!!

Word Study

“How priceless is your unfailing love!” (NIV)
Psalm 36:7a

“How excellent is thy lovingkindness O God!”

Excellent- yaqar (yaw-kawr’)- valuable, prized, weighty, precious, rare, splendid, costly, , influential, glorious, splendid

How do I respond to God’s lovingkindness? Do I treat it as valuable, prized, weighty, precious, rare, splendid, costly, influential, glorious, splendid?

I would love to say a resounding yes…

Thankful Thursday

I am so very thankful to be the mother to Blaire and Griffin!

Faith Stretching/Strengthening

I am standing in the gap for someone I love as she fights for faith.  The job of the gap-stander is tough, real tough. God is working and though the job is tough, as the gap-stander I have a front row seat to see His great work.

  1. I need to continue to submit to God and stay on the right path hard as it is to stay strong through various evildoers in our world.

  2. Loved the message this week. If I want to be used by God and have opportunities to share His love with others I need to be walking with Him. This message came out in Sunday school yesterday too. I am much more likely to honor Him through my words and actions if I submit and obey to Him.

  3. Truth is–doing the right thing is not always the easy thing. I experienced a need to apologize to someone but was refused the opportunity. Maybe today she will allow me to do what is right. Praying. I continue to strive to be an oracle.

  4. Truth is God’ s love is bigger than we can fathom and can be trusted. Twice at the end of the Psalm David reminds us God’s love is steadfast.

  5. Thankful that God protects us like an eagle protects her young. We can take refuge in the shadow of his wings.

  6. Hello Dear Ladies! I have had a crazy week. Sorry for the delay.
I read a newspaper article tonight about the GIFT the father found placed by God and Evelyn Gerber, who died after her piano performance a few days ago. This just sent chills over me and renewed my faith that God surely reaches out to us in our hours of need. If you haven’t seen the article search in the Repository. Well worth the read!
Isn’t it amazing how God reaches us by means we would never expect to see or hear Him from!
