  1. Barbara M. says:

What an incredible blessing to search the Psalms and to feel God’s comfort in them each day! I thank you, Wendy, for the joy of discovery as we plant God’s Word in our hearts. It makes me want to praise Him more. I love how many of the hymns are linked to His word…especially this week’s Psalm! http://www.cyberhymnal.org has “O Lord, Our Lord, in all the Earth” at http://www.cyberhymnal.org/htm/o/l/olordolo.htm

  2. Jeanne E. Rumbley says:

I am thankful that I get to hold my grandson and watch him rest and sleep in my arms. He is not a good sleeper and has night dreams or nightmares at 17 months old. I quoted Psalm 23 to him yesterday as he was going off to sleep, and I could see the calmness in his eyes–”from the lips of chldren and infants You have ordained praise…” Thank You, Lord, for the special time of holding a grandchild and sharing You with him.

I am thankful for the greatness of our God and what HE can all do is us and especially what HE is doing in me through this study.
I am also thankful for when we call on HIM, he will answer us at times immediately. HE answered my need immediately yesterday. Thank You Lord.

    Love, Debra

  6. Mary G says:

I am so thankful that my mom’s move is going well.
I am thankful I’m not tried/sore from helping to pack up my mom’s house. Having RA I need to pace myself. It is hard at times to not go overboard.

    Enjoy your day.

  7. Julie says:

I am thankful for my husband and the leadership he brings to our home. Ladies, my heart is so heavy today as our teenage son, Nickolas, is facing hard times in high school with friends/harrassment. I know there are many young people in shoes like his. I would be so humbled and appreciative if you would include him in your prayers. I am praying for a Godly friend to present himself into his life and for him to be strong and feel God’s comfort amidst all of this strife.

    • Debra says:

      Father,
We pray for Julie son Nickolas. We ask you to give him strength in times of harassment. May you put a Godly friend in his life to encourage him and keep him strong. It is hard for our youth these days, they are surrounded by much pressure, please give him your peace. In Jesus Name, Amen

Thank you all so much for your prayers for Nickolas. He was truly touched to know that people we have never met have a caring and loving heart.

  12. Sandra says:

So many things to be thankful for… my husband who is a man of God and so patient. For the opportunity to build 2 houses on one piece of property to care and enjoy my husband’s parents. Please pray for the building process. For God’s word to challenge me, teach me and show God’s love for me. For my daughter and son in love who are raising God fearing children (2 girls from Liberia). For my son who is graduating from ortho school and will be finally reaching his dream. My daughter in love who is expecting our 5th grandchild. My grandson who is starting to talk. I’m thankful to the Lord for our abiding friendship as He is turning an “anguish” time of labor into a birthing of “opportunity”. Such Joy is spilling from my heart.
What a blessed time this Bible Study is to lift each one of you ladies up in pray. Praise Him!

  13. Lynne says:

Today I’m thankful for the Lord’s peace!

  14. Judi says:

I’m thankful for the Throne of Grace. For the blessing of opportunity to come before this Throne, to our great High Priest who knows all about our sorrows and pain because He experienced it all. As the hymn so perfectly puts it “what a PRIVILEGE to carry EVERYTHING to God in prayer”.
I’m thankful I can pray for others’ needs; I’m thankful for those who pray for mine. As Julie says, it is humbling to receive this blessing.
Thankful for all you Sisters in this study, leaders and participants. ~blessings to you all~

  15. Jennifer in Iowa says:

I am confused. I was on here earlier today, and saw a great post from Joy. Now it is not here. What am I doing wrong? Where is that post?

    • Jennifer in Iowa says:

I see it. There is a different discussion/comments under the study questions that get emailed! I didn’t realize there were two conversations going on!
